Next Tuesday is Hallowe'en and we are dancing and partying! The party will be at the end of the beginner session, 8pm, so everyone can participate. Flossy’s idea for fun is that we bring a bucket and a treat -- say, cookies, candies, sachets of herbs from the garden, little bag of nuts or grapes or something special you have a bunch of that you would like to give out -- and set them out on the table and everyone join in going around while having tea and drinks. Wear something funny, festive, gruesome, or a hat, mask, or scarf, or come as you are, a Folk Dancer!

Hello all! My name is Stephan Torak ..I was part of the 1980 Placerville international folk dance group. I would like to contact Merv Stouffer (if he is still reachable or Flossie who seems to be still around, I hope!) If you recognize Sarah (I hope someone will) she passed away recently and I live in Maine and cannot travel to Garden Valley to be there. But if any one knows Sarah you will also maybe remember me, Stephan. Please would anyone who knows us contact me on fb?? Thank you!
