"Hi everyone,
Thanks to our amazing building committee and helpers who cleaned up everything and rebuilt our storage spaces. We are still looking for the owners of the speakers (two different sets). Please reach out as soon as possible if you are that person, or know who that may be. You may email [email protected] or send us a message on here. Thanks!"

Do you, or someone you know store items/equipment in our community center storage? We are doing a mass clean out and trying to reconnect things with their owners. Please contact us before 2/14.

Here come Free Arts Fridays!
F.A.F. is a drop-in art-space for teens and artists running 1st and 3rd Fridays from 3-6 p.m. at the Plainfield Community Center. Our goal is for teens and artists (who aren't teens) to get together to inspire one another and make radical art together! Painting mobile murals (aka banners) to parade at events and actions, block printing, silk screening clothing, and posters, watching radical movies together, eating pizza (Thank you +π) and snax, goofing around, coming up with theatrical actions/performances,

Now we're wondering who in our community would be interested in assisting by collaborating with us in designing and facilitating this project by offering a workshop, volunteering to help host (being there for set up and clean up, helping folks connect with projects, hustling supplies for the ongoing art projects (getting paper, paints, hardware and materials) or promote this project via social media, hanging flyers, visiting schools, setting up visits, or renting a blimp.

The next Free Arts Friday is this Friday the 27th (I know its a fourth Friday, we're just excited and trying to get it going... we'll start first and third in Feb.)
