We passed two farm kid mile stones today.
#1. First tractor nap ever for baby Willa.
#2. First time putting two kids down for a nap at the same time while making hay.
We will be mowing 20 acres tomorrow if anyone would like to send their difficult sleepers over for a nap.
Because Who doesnât want to end their day with a picture of baby calves?
We have been trying all week to get a pic of them together. 9 calves out of 11 is as good as it is going to get.

Happy Memorial Day! These kids worked hard to make hay this hot weekend. And by work that means picnics in the woods, picking wild flowers, and a nap on daddyâs lap while mowing the last field.

We are receiving a lot of inquiries about picking up some beef and chicken so we will be open for customers tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
In order to play our part in maintaining social distance we will ask our customers to:
-Please do not come if you or someone in your household is feeling at all under the weather in any way.
-We will have a "drive through" service for you to pick up your order. Once you get here, you can just wait in your car and we will be out with your order. PLEASE stay in your vehicles, we will come out to you.
We will have the following available:
Ground beef by the pound, $6.50/lb
Sides (1/4, 1/8, or sample pack) $10.00/lb
Chickens, $4.50/lb

Even though Iâve lived in a rural community my whole life, I still get excited at the sight of cattle grazing in the field. Luckily for me, I get to drive past @lewisfamilyfarms herd every day. I love when their grazing rotation brings the cows close to the road, so the kids and I can get a close up view. â¤ď¸đâ¤ď¸đ
