Dear friends:
We want to provide an update and share with you some changes and recommendations in response to the rapidly evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Therefore, please note the following:

Reminders:
• Wash your hands frequently
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
• Stay home when you are sick.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
• Disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces Be prepared if your child’s school or childcare facility is temporarily dismissed or for potential changes at your workplace.

USG was proud to host - Food is Opportunity Day in our conference center This event provided a great opportunity for local food and beverage businesses and farms to sample their product to retail, wholesale, and institutional buyers, build connections and new relationships with buyers and students, and network with other local food and beverage producers. We also featured educational panels to showcase the diverse career paths within the local food system, as well as to teach students and small food and beverage businesses how to scale a business. Of course, the sampling wasn't so bad either!

Can you tell what the mitzvah theme was? These are scenes from the bat mitzvah held at our venue on Saturday. Sticking with the theme, Electric Events DC decorated the venue with lighting that completely transformed the space. All centerpieces were created by the talented parents of the guest of honor. A large screen at the foot of the dance floor projected images, while the lighting and creative furniture completed the theme.
