We are dedicated to helping people live better lives. Who We Are The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. Our History The F.O.E. was founded in February, 1898 by six theatre owners gathered in a Seattle shipyard to discuss a musician's strike. After addressing the matter, they agreed to "bury the hatchet" and form "The Order of Good Things." As numbers grew, members selected the Bald Eagle as the official emblem and changed the name to "The Fraternal Order of Eagles." The women's auxiliary traces its roots to 1927. Our Membership F.O.E. membership exceeds 850,000, with more than 1,400 local Aeries in the U.S. and Canada. Women's auxiliaries total more than 1,300, with more than 250,000 members. Members are recruited by other members and must be sponsored by two members before the membership process begins.

Thanks to our helpful members, we delivered 22 pumpkin pies to Edible Hope for their Thanksgiving meal. Picture below is Dan Abernethy, Emilie Han, and Judy Abernethy. Emilie is the manager of the kitchen, which supplies hot meals 5 days a week, through St. Luke's Edible Hope. And as a bonus, we included whip cream to top off the pies and a 20 pound turkey, which they will probably use for the next holiday dinner. Emilie said that the patrons really like to have a sweet with the meals, so the pies were very much appreciated. Thanks all for your support!

Given the latest Governor's announcement, is the meeting still on for 12/2 about the transfer of funds? Will it be postponed? If so, will that be "play it by ear" depending on how long the latest closure lasts for rescheduling?
Jerry Pierson who had been a member and moved to Livingston MT passed away on 9/3/2020. Jerry was an avid historian and had a deep history dating to the early settlers of Seattle, Would like to plan a memorial service for him sometime in 2021. Hopefully by 2021 this pandemic will be over and done with, Jerry was born on 1/17/1954 and passed away on 9/3/2020 from liver failure,
Are you looking for food?
Is there dancing tonight? If so, what time?
Hi, I've been appointed to be the cleaning crew co-ordinator. If you are like me and don't mind doing some cleaning, painting, redecorating to make our "house" more hospitable, please contact me. Also, our new logo has the Eagle holding a salmon...so thought if someone came up with a life size salmon to put under our showcase eagle's talons it would be really cool. I have various project ideas to update and touch up the building I'd like to throw around. Been doing some drawings...there is a meeting Friday to discuss things like this...Jimmie Barrett , Nora , Curtis and others are showing interests.
