Have you missed out on events occurring at LUCID? You’re in luck! LUCID has an exciting couple of days for musical entertainment!
Tonight, LUCID will have local DJ Jen Moore from 11:30pm to 2:00am, who is known for bringing together an eclectic mix of music and blend it together in a way that tells a new story!
Tomorrow don’t miss your chance to enjoy the earthy blend of folk and pop with Gentri Watson from 6pm to 8pm.
From 9:30pm to 11:30pm LUCID will have interstellar soul-jazz with Sidewinder.
Following these unique blends will be Dj Toya B with her own musical styles and interpretations on the turntable.

Join us tonight for the screening of "Too Late" and "Closing Time." Doors open at 7pm and we'll begin screening at 8pm!
With its shadowy B&W photography and dark trumpet score, “Too Late” is both a tribute to the classic noir films of the ‘40s and ‘50s and a very modern look at the dangers of cutting ourselves off from the world around us.
Complemented by warm cinematography and a sweet guitar score, “Closing Time” is a gentle, hopeful and subtly romantic slice of life.

Minus MC Silas Blak, Jace ECaj and vocalist Felicia Loud will perform new material and fan favorites in collaboration with the Central District Forum for Arts & Ideas (CD Forum) at the popular artist venue on 5241 University Way NE in Seattle. DJ Fresh1 and guest vocalist LaTanya Horace, aka Sistah Luv, will also join in some “Hot Coca.”
“Hot Coca was coined by David Pierre-Louis, owner of LUCID,” Black Stax’s Jace ECaj explained yesterday. “We were talking about doing something smooth that would introduce a warm vibe and warm drinks to celebrate the end of one season, year, going into the next with a good taste in your soul.”
