Q Nightclub

Q Nightclub We are a 21+ Nightclub located in Capitol Hill. Q is a state-of-the-art, 12,500 sq. ft. multilevel lounge and nightclub located in Seattle's vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood that sets a new standard for excellence by returning to the fundamentals of what makes a nightclub experience great: innovative interior design, groundbreaking sound and lighting, exceptional service, and our twist on specialty drinks and cocktails, including the club’s own signature line of infused and flavored vodkas.

Open five days a week, Q serves as both a lounge on weekdays, and a nightclub on weekends. Q is available as a rentable venue as well. Whether you are seeking a relaxed atmosphere after work or a fun night of dancing, you will be able find it at Q. The space is designed by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, the AIA award-winning architects behind such projects as the iconic Apple Cube on New York’s Fifth Avenue, Pixar Studios Headquarters, and Seattle City Hall, to name a few. In addition, Q incorporates world-class audio-visual components as part of its overall design, providing the most memorable experience for our patrons possible. These include a sound system by Funktion One from England that's been designed by Sound Investment AV, and state of the art lighting design by Steve Lieberman of the award-winning SJ Lighting in Los Angeles. ❗️HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO HELP LOCAL WA VENUES❗️⁣

#KeepMusicLiveWA is a COVID-19 relief fundraising campaign for Washington’s locally-owned & operated music venues. ⁣

Beloved music venues like Q Nightclub, Neumos, The Crocodile, Tractor Tavern, Wild Buffalo, and Chop Suey were the first to close and will be the last to open.⁣

We need to act NOW so that they can re-open when it’s safe to do so. Join us, share us and be part of our campaign! Together, we can Keep Music Live. #KeepMusicLiveWA

This month is Pride Month. 🏳️‍🌈

It marks the anniversary of a rebellion that took place just 51 years ago— when many from the LGBTQ+ community rioted at NYC’s Stonewall Inn to protest against the discriminatory and unnecessary acts of police brutality.

On Friday of last week, the current administration finalized a rule that would remove nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ+ people when it comes to health care and health insurance.

We see no better time now more than ever for us all to stand together as we fight against COVID-19, and for the rights for Black Lives and the LGBTQ+ community.

We believe it is important to remember and learn from the struggles others went through in the past to fight for their rights... So that when we fight today to make it known that their lives matter, we show it in our actions, our communities, our hearts, and the world.

Join us in standing in solidarity with the Black community against police brutality and systemic racism. As a nightclub that shares the love of music rooted in African American culture, it is our responsibility to support and fight alongside them for justice. Please join us in being better, doing better, and creating a better world for all of us. #BlackLivesMatter #TheShowMustBePaused #JusticeForGeorge

So that we're not slowly moving towards an episode of Black Mirror, we have to begin to realize, that without some help and a collective creative set of ideas, live entertainment could be gone for a long time. The longer that it goes away, the more that people adapt towards their new normal. We want that feeling of a room, filled with keys and chords and cymbals and vocals and "Play FREE BIRD". We can't let that escape us. If you haven't signed the bit.ly/WANMACHANGE petition, please do it.

Happy 4/20! Our friends over at Bad Luck Club have a special playlist for whatever you’re feeling for today so go check it out!

We’re vibin’ to the Hybrid playlist right now. 🌀

After making our way through countless 4/20 celebrations over the years, we understand the ups and downs of this stoney holiday from creative, sativa-infused mornings to paralyzing evening tokes and cartoons with that sticky-icky purp skurp.

No matter how you're feeling, we're here to provide a dose of bad luck to pair with the elevated mindset we all share today. Experience the day through the lense of bad luck by checking out our new website in the comments below. Stay smokin' my friends! ⚠️

“As the days pass while in isolation, I worry about the nightlife community and how they are getting through this. I think about my favorite bartenders, bouncers, vip staff, the staff behind the scenes who make each show amazing, the dj/producer friends who work hard to bring smiles to the faces of each attendant... I think about how they’re holding up as we all try to wait patiently for the day the quarantine ends. Because they are the reason why the nightlife and live music community mean so much to me. Being able to go to my favorite club or venue in Seattle with my friends, to listen and dance to my favorite artists, to make new friends and build the community, to have an outlet where I can share the music I love and connect with many others, to live and be happy — these are reasons why I love the community. And we need to protect it.”

Special thanks to Christina for sharing your story about why these community spaces are important to YOU.

If you have a similar story and want to make sure there is a place for you and your friends to experience live music again in our beautiful Washington state, then we need YOUR HELP to get through the COVID-19 community space closures.

Here’s what you can do:
Contact your representative today and let them know why live music spaces are important to you. Follow Washington Nightlife Music Association and visit our website www.wanma.info to learn more about what Washington venues need to share with your rep.

Hey music fans & venue friends!

We need YOUR HELP to save our music & the nightlife community! Q Nightclub has joined a coalition of music venues called the Washington Nightlife Music Association (WANMA). We are organizing together to help each other make it through the COVID-19 community space closures.

WANMA has put together a five-step plan to help save our music and we're asking you to reach out to your representatives to help!

Seattle and Washington venues need:
• Direct cash assistance -- NOT LOANS
• Rent forgiveness & reductions
• Financial payments & extended assistance for the workforce
• Tax relief
• Insurance relief & revisions

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Call your reps. Call them regularly.
Tell them these five things that our local music venues need and why these community spaces are important to YOU.
