B Chord Brewing Company
To all of our jam buddies. - The old Sterling Golf Club Jam is EXTINCT! It was great picking on the porch for 14 or so years. Thanks to all who attended this jam at the Club.
The Sterling Golf Club jam has moved to B Chord Brewing
https://www.facebook.com/bchordbrewing
Note that this is open format acoustic jam, for mixed genre music. Think Blues/Americana/Roots/Country/Folk/Acoustic rock/Swing, etc. This is not an electric blues jam.
To keep things simple, there will be very limited access to plug in. If you need an amp, a battery-powered one is advised, played respectfully, please.
I hope to see you there.
More info on the move to B Chord:
This is our new permanent home for this jam. They have the right facility (it's big and comfortable) , great food, craft brew, and, most of all, they have a great attitude toward our kind of music and there are always musicians hanging out there.
No other facility that I have looked at has the right stuff for a jam (bad acoustics, tight space, uncooperative, etc.). B Chord is the right place and B Chord WANTS US THERE! Thanks to Marty Dougherty (co-owner) and Erik Burnham (Music director) for working this out for us!
Please get on board, it is not that far to go! Personally, I think this change will send this jam into a great future, as we will all meet many new friends and catch up with our old music buddies at B Chord.
NOTE THAT THE DATES for this jam series are now the FIRST, THIRD and when possible, the FIFTH Sunday of each month (This Sunday is a FIFTH Sunday) . That's right, this series provides many more opportunities to jam!
The Sterling jam was previously the second Sunday, at 5 PM. For the "dinner and discussion" jam that we've all come to know, we'll focus on the FIRST Sunday going forward. B Chord will be open to accommodate the dinner crowd, so except for the change to first Sunday, all else remains the same!
Virginia Farm Brewery located in Western Loudoun County
Open Wednesday-Sunday. Weekends 12p-11p, Sunday 12p-8p. Children and Dogs are welcome.
