Here is a special note from Amanda Jean Pierson:
I just wanted to say a giant thank you to those of you who were so kind to Makenna at the 5K today. She is 19 and has Cerebral Palsy. Kenna is one of the most competitive people you will ever meet, and we just recently were able to get her a jogging stroller. Today was her second 5K, and you all made it so special for her. Besides getting to go home with the medal and bell, her favorite color is purple! I couldn't get her to take the shirt off at bed time 💜 Thank you again 💜
