After careful consideration the Carnival Committee has decided to cancel the 2020 Queen of Heaven Carnival. We do this, taking into account the health and safety of everyone involved: our parishioners, sponsors, vendors, patrons and in reality, the whole community of Western New York.

Following the overwhelming concerns regarding the COVID-19 virus and the resultant governmental mandates, we believe this to be the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event. But we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today.

We are not alone in this decision, around the world, festivals, sporting events, conferences and community celebrations are being cancelled due to concerns of the pandemic. Event organizers have had to make difficult decisions about how to proceed, and would-be attendees question whether they should plan to go.

Our thoughts are with all of those who have been and continue to be affected by these unprecedented times especially First Responders, Health Workers and all Essential Workers in many Industries.

Finally, we would like to thank everyone for their understanding in these unique and unquestionably challenging circumstances. We look forward to continue to serve our community in the future.

We the Queen of Heaven Carnival Committee continue to monitor developments with respect to the COVID-19. We have taken steps to ensure the safety and wellness of our volunteers as well as any attendees by postponing the Carnival Pre-Events which we sell the Vehicle and Trip Raffle Tickets. It is unfortunate under NYS Gaming Law we can not sell them online. As we continue to follow recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the State of New York our Pre-Events schedule will be adjusted.. Corona Virus Covid-19 Update
The health of our Queen of Heaven Carnival Community is our primary concern. We continue to closely monitor developments with respect to the COVID-19. We have been taking steps to ensure the safety and wellness of our volunteers as well as any attendees who might visit the Pre-Raffle Sales locations of the Carnival 2020 Vehicle and Trip Raffles. We are prudently evaluating the need and attendance at group gatherings. As a result of the recent recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the State of New York the following event has been postponed in conjunction with the Management of the Ebenezer Ale House.
